If Hamda Sellami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harefield City's Hatem Ali Bourguiba got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anouar Farhat hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Taher Robime managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harefield City's supporters rose to their feet, but Taher Robime was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adel Mahouachi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haykel Kerrit in the 18th minute of play forced Harefield City's goalkeeper Houcine Zouari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, Harefield City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Trabelsi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Mehdi Ghigani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stoke-on-Trent FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehdi Ghigani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Houcine Zouari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Muhammad Ghannouchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hatem Ali Bourguiba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Taher Robime made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Stoke-on-Trent FC's Adel Mahouachi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th match minute, Stoke-on-Trent FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chaker Ben Aïssa to maneuver through the defense. Hatem Ali Bourguiba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Adel Mahouachi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match, Mehdi Ghigani got a very nice opportunity to score, but Houcine Zouari was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Taher Robime struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Adel Mahouachi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harefield City. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Houcine Zouari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Ghigani in the 57th minute of the match. Hatem Ali Bourguiba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adel Mahouachi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Adel Mahouachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hatem Ali Bourguiba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Anouar Farhat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stoke-on-Trent FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harefield City the free kick. After 75 played minutes Stoke-on-Trent FC got a freekick which was hit by Anouar Farhat. Habib Bouzayène, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Habib Bouzayène during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ben Chikhaoui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Adel Mahouachi made a huge save.
