When Hatem Ali Bourguiba came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Harefield City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hatem Ali Bourguiba couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabri Decastel in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Houcine Zouari saved Harefield City from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hatem Ali Bourguiba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, South Shields's Houcine Zouari threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sabri Decastel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sahbi Ben Mor kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
