Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zoubair Haddad kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Coombe City booed when Winkleigh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khaled Bejaoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoubair Haddad in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taieb al-Husain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelkarim Ladgham in the 10th minute of play forced Winkleigh FC's goalkeeper Taieb al-Husain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khaled Bejaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hédi Hadrioui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoubair Haddad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taieb al-Husain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelkarim Ladgham in the 20th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Winkleigh FC's Blaise al-Amin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Hédi Hadrioui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blaise al-Amin in the 37th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blaise al-Amin to strike the kick off in the second half. Khaled Bejaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Adel Lamouchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zoubair Haddad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taieb al-Husain having to interfere. Abdelkarim Ladgham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taieb al-Husain having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Khaled Bejaoui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 played minutes Coombe City got a freekick which was hit by Adel Lamouchi. In the 64th minute, Blaise al-Amin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winkleigh FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Zine Hadrioui 's late challenge caught a Coombe City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zine Hadrioui helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Coombe City's Mohamed Ali Benslimane tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 84 minutes of play, Winkleigh FC's Khaled Bejaoui made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hédi Hadrioui was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Coombe City's Zoubair Haddad dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. The Winkleigh FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
