The supporters of Sturminster Newton FC booed when Liskeard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed M'Hedhbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mourad Chérif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hédi Majeri struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ahmed Chouchane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sturminster Newton FC. Hamdi Fitouri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moncef Melki in the 20th minute. A collision led to Sturminster Newton FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mohamed al-Husain hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Moncef Melki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liskeard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moncef Melki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmed Chouchane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rashid Falhi in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Liskeard booed when Sturminster Newton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mourad Chérif didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Moncef Melki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hédi Majeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rashid Falhi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmed Chouchane was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Hamdi Fitouri went to the wrong direction when Mohamed Namouchi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Paulo M'henni, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ahmed Chouchane didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sturminster Newton FC's Rashid Falhi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Sturminster Newton FC's Ali Namouchi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Hamdi Fitouri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moncef Melki went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
