Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) St.Bees's Mohamed Falhi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karim Sfar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. After 7 played minutes, St.Bees's Mokhtar Habib Benfrej shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo al-Husain came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in St.Bees reached it. Haythem Younes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Locksheath United's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Falhi came free, but Paulo al-Husain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Locksheath United's goalkeeper Paulo al-Husain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Karim Sfar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, St.Bees's Hatem Trabelsi got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the St.Bees defense, Haythem Younes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Habib Achab. The St.Bees fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Habib Achab should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, St.Bees's goal looked a bit too open when Sofiène Ladgham came free, but Habib Achab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohamed Falhi in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo al-Husain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haythem Younes was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, St.Bees's Habib Achab got control of the ball when Haythem Younes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Habib Achab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sofiène Ladgham in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sofiène Ladgham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locksheath United's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofiène Ladgham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Habib Achab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haythem Younes in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Habib Achab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haythem Younes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Habib Achab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to St.Bees getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Riadh Belkhodja hit a great ball. Aymen Nefzi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mohamed Falhi charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohamed Falhi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Mohamed Falhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Habib Achab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haythem Younes in the 77th minute of the match. Karim Sfar took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo al-Husain. Paulo al-Husain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Many of Locksheath United's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Locksheath United may have spent more time on the ball, but St.Bees were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
