Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haythem Younes started the match with the kick off. Paulo al-Husain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fatah Mzoughi in the 3rd minute. Meldreth FC's Hamza Salem got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 4th minute, Nejib Hicheri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Meldreth FC's zone, Atef Essediri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iteb Djait came out of the goal and Atef Essediri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iteb Djait showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofiène Ladgham, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 25th minute, Houcine Thabet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haythem Younes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iteb Djait having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Kallel in the 35th minute of play forced Meldreth FC's goalkeeper Iteb Djait to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Fatah Mzoughi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Paulo al-Husain to make any attempt to save it. Sofiène Ladgham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iteb Djait having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haythem Younes in the 47th minute of play forced Meldreth FC's goalkeeper Iteb Djait to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamza Salem was the one to do the kick off. Bahi Abdi lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Paulo al-Husain had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Mohamed Nafti's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Locksheath United defense, Hamza Salem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo al-Husain. The Locksheath United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo al-Husain should have stopped the shot. Sofiène Ladgham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iteb Djait having to interfere. In the 69th minute Fatah Mzoughi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo al-Husain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fatah Mzoughi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Locksheath United's Khaled Namouchi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Fatah Mzoughi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Paulo al-Husain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, one of Locksheath United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Locksheath United. In the 88th minute, Fatah Mzoughi made a precise shot to the right of Paulo al-Husain. Locksheath United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Meldreth FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Locksheath United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
