Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mustafa Boumnijel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Basingstoke FC's Mehdi Jemmali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Boumnijel in the 4th minute of play. Ali Nafti took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zoubeir Dali. Zoubeir Dali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Bishop Stortford booed when Basingstoke FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehdi El Naili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Boumnijel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Mehdi Jemmali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ayèche Ben Achour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basingstoke FC's Anis Ben Ammar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bishop Stortford. Bishop Stortford's Mustafa Boumnijel got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zoubeir Dali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Nafti in the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Basingstoke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Boumnijel came free, but Mehdi Jemmali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Med Ali Mahouachi came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Basingstoke FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Med Ali Mahouachi couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the game, Aymen Hadji was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bishop Stortford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basingstoke FC the free kick. In the 41st minute, Aymen Hadji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Med Ali Mahouachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Basingstoke FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Nafti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Basingstoke FC got a freekick which was hit by Riadh Azzaro. If Ayèche Ben Achour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayèche Ben Achour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mehdi Jemmali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bishop Stortford defense, Med Ali Mahouachi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zoubeir Dali. The Bishop Stortford fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zoubeir Dali should have stopped the shot. When Med Ali Mahouachi came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Basingstoke FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Med Ali Mahouachi couldn't finish the play. Ali Nafti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Bishop Stortford's Riadh Beya got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Mustafa Boumnijel came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Bishop Stortford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Boumnijel couldn't finish the play. Ali Nafti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoubeir Dali having to interfere. Basingstoke FC's Mehdi Jemmali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayèche Ben Achour in the 90th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Mohamed Hermassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bishop Stortford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basingstoke FC the free kick. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bishop Stortford! Anis Ben Ammar placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The Bishop Stortford supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Basingstoke FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Basingstoke FC.
