Southbourne United's Yassine Kasraoui got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Southbourne United's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Saidi came free, but Mohamed Salah Ben Merdassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Nafti kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Hosni Limam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mohamed Salah Ben Merdassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Saidi in the 17th minute of the match. If Aziz Saidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Southbourne United's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Saidi came free, but Mohamed Salah Ben Merdassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohamed Salah Ben Merdassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aziz Saidi in the 31st minute of play. Mohamed Salah Ben Merdassi was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Aziz Saidi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aziz Saidi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Yassine Kasraoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Bejaoui having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Windermere United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alaeddine Morjane to maneuver through the defense. If Aziz Saidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Southbourne United's Ibrahim Sélim Haj Ali shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pierre Bejaoui but with some difficulty. Pierre Bejaoui stood somewhat misplaced when Yassine Kasraoui came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 55 minute. Mohamed Salah Ben Merdassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alaeddine Morjane in the 61st minute of play. When Yassine Kasraoui came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Southbourne United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yassine Kasraoui couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Aziz Saidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hosni Limam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
