When Hédi Kerrit came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Bridport City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hédi Kerrit couldn't finish the play. Ahmed Taher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hédi Kerrit in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Hamza Sfar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitchurch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamza Sfar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chedly Sassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chedly Sassi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Chaouki Chikhaoui skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hédi Kerrit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Taher having to interfere. In the 84th minute Faouzi Khcharem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chaouki Chikhaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Chedly Sassi made a precise shot to the right of Chaouki Chikhaoui. Bridport City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
