Liscard City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 4 minutes, Salah Srarfi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liscard City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salah Srarfi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Aymen Boumnijel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liscard City's Riadh Yahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aymen Boumnijel in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Mohamed Ali Khaled made a precise shot to the right of Mohsen Yahia. Clayton-le-Moors United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Mohsen Yahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Ali Khaled, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salah Srarfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mohsen Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Riadh Yahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aymen Boumnijel, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Salah Srarfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hatem Rokki kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aymen Boumnijel was the one to do the kick off. Aymen Boumnijel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Riadh Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelhamid Arfa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Clayton-le-Moors United got a freekick which was hit by Adel Bourguiba. Abdelhamid Arfa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aymen Boumnijel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Riadh Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sofiene Yahia took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Riadh Yahia. Riadh Yahia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Mohsen Yahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mounir Agrebi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riadh Yahia made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Aymen Boumnijel sent off a good shot on target. When Karim Sebki fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liscard City's protests and gave Karim Sebki a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aymen Boumnijel in the 92nd minute of play forced Liscard City's goalkeeper Riadh Yahia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Salah Srarfi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liscard City's supporters rose to their feet, but Salah Srarfi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohsen Yahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
