Tarek Kasraoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Ghannem in the 9th minute of the match. Mehdi Mkacher took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tarek Kasraoui. Woolwich's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Aziz Khcharem managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Woolwich's Sahbi Ben Idir fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aziz Khcharem made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Maher Abdeljilil sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Gloucester City's Adel Jemaiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tarek Kasraoui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Woolwich getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Maher Abdeljilil hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adel Jemaiel made a kick off. Mohamed Ghannem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tarek Kasraoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferid Neifar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aziz Khcharem having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Gloucester City's Hamadi Habib Benfrej seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hamadi Habib Benfrej the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gloucester City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hamadi Habib Benfrej had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 67 minutes into the game, one of Gloucester City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Gloucester City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aziz Khcharem should have stopped the shot. Aziz Khcharem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sahbi Ben Idir in the 90th minute of the match. Sahbi Ben Idir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
