Bahi Nefzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderrahman Naybet having to interfere. Mohamed Mnari hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Bahi Nefzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Abderrahman Naybet made a huge save. Abderrahman Naybet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Lytham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Azzaro came free, but Kaies Kaâbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Issam Dhiab kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Ali Azzaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaies Kaâbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes, Issam Dhiab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lytham FC and the Derby players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36thth minute of the game Ali Azzaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lytham FC's Kaies Kaâbi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rashid El Bez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaies Kaâbi having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Lytham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Azzaro came free, but Kaies Kaâbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Ali Azzaro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lytham FC's Kaies Kaâbi. Kaies Kaâbi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Derby getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Fakhreddine Merdassi hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ali Azzaro made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sadok Souayah notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Derby's Abderrahman Naybet . Abderrahman Naybet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Ali Azzaro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kaies Kaâbi. That made the score 1-2 in the 60 minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Rashid El Bez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Kaies Kaâbi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abderrahman Naybet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ghazi Nafti in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bahi Nefzi in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abderrahman Naybet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Issam Dhiab was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lytham FC's zone, Rashid El Bez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaies Kaâbi came out of the goal and Rashid El Bez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Derby booed when Lytham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghazi Nafti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lytham FC's Kaies Kaâbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Azzaro in the 86th minute of play. Rashid El Bez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaies Kaâbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rashid El Bez in the 93rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Derby walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
