Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oussama Baly got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Derby's zone, Mongi El Naili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abderrahman Naybet came out of the goal and Mongi El Naili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rashid El Bez got free with Faouzi Trabelsi in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oussama Baly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Abderrahman Naybet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Derby's goal looked a bit too open when Oussama Baly came free, but Abderrahman Naybet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Ziad Laabidi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faouzi Trabelsi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rashid El Bez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faouzi Trabelsi having to make a save. Fakhreddine Merdassi hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Mongi El Naili scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abderrahman Naybet , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hedi Gharbi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Azzaro to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Bernard Ghodhbane sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faouzi Trabelsi skillfully saved the ball. Fakhreddine Merdassi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ali Azzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rashid El Bez took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faouzi Trabelsi. Faouzi Trabelsi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Derby's Rashid El Bez got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Oussama Baly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abderrahman Naybet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oussama Baly in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Azzaro in the 71st minute of play forced Knowle City's goalkeeper Faouzi Trabelsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Ali Azzaro made a precise shot to the right of Faouzi Trabelsi. Knowle City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. With an all-out effort, Knowle City's Abderrahman Naybet threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oussama Baly, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Knowle City's Faouzi Trabelsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Azzaro in the 90th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Knowle City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Derby.
