Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rashid Koissy kicked off to start the match. Sofiene Boumnijel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammad Sélim Haj Ali, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Jean Sellimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sofiene Boumnijel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Muhammad Sélim Haj Ali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofiene Boumnijel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Muhammad Sélim Haj Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Cheadle. Tarek Trabelsi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sofiene Boumnijel. 0-1. Sofiene Boumnijel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Sellimi in the 17th minute of play. Dhaker Ben Aïssa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Rashid Koissy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Radhi Trabelsi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Bahi Khaled mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cheadle and the Plumpton Green players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bahi Khaled hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Karim Mechergui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Cheadle's goal looked a bit too open when Rashid Koissy came free, but Radhi Trabelsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karim Mechergui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radhi Trabelsi having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Plumpton Green's Rashid Koissy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Muhammad Sélim Haj Ali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sofiene Boumnijel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Cheadle:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Plumpton Green:s goal. The goalkeeper, Radhi Trabelsi, was totally fooled by Plumpton Green's Najeh Bourguiba, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Muhammad Sélim Haj Ali made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Mechergui in the 52nd minute of play forced Cheadle's goalkeeper Radhi Trabelsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Rashid Koissy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rashid Koissy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Cheadle's goal looked a bit too open when Rashid Koissy came free, but Radhi Trabelsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oussama Trabelsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Sofiene Boumnijel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oussama Trabelsi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cheadle's zone, Rashid Koissy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radhi Trabelsi came out of the goal and Rashid Koissy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rashid Koissy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rashid Koissy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Karim Mechergui came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Plumpton Green fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Mechergui couldn't finish the play. Muhammad Sélim Haj Ali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sofiene Boumnijel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Karim Mechergui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cheadle's Tarek Trabelsi got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Plumpton Green were the better team. Plumpton Green's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
