Fraj Chatti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohsen Ali Bourguiba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waterloo's Maher Mzali got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 48th minute, Karim Chaldun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rothley United's Ali Korbi didn't even have to move. The wind increased when Fathi Akimi made the kick off in the second half. When Mohsen Ali Bourguiba came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Rothley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohsen Ali Bourguiba couldn't finish the play. Aymen Ziadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohsen Ali Bourguiba in the 56th minute of play. Fathi Akimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ali Korbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Rothley United's Ali Korbi got control of the ball when Maher Mzali tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fathi Akimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Korbi having to interfere. The Rothley United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Waterloo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
