Hichem Azaïez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noureddine Chikhaoui in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, Alcester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wissem Achab to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Noureddine Chikhaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borehamwood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noureddine Chikhaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moncef Chiboub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelwahab Melliti having to interfere. Mohamed El Bez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hichem Azaïez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jemeleddine Bouchrara hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With his leg Abdelwahab Melliti managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Alcester's Ali Omrani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ali Omrani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noureddine Chikhaoui scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hichem Azaïez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Alcester booed when Borehamwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Issam Trabelsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdelwahab Melliti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Omrani in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Borehamwood getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Noureddine Chikhaoui hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Borehamwood's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Omrani came free, but Abdelwahab Melliti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Alcester fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The audience was convinced that Mohamed El Bez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hichem Azaïez was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Karim Cherni charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karim Cherni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
