In the 6th minute Kaies Jemmali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Younes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Younes was a little too slow when Hedi David got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wanstead City's goalkeeper Aymen Baccouche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Hedi David had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aymen Baccouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hedi Beya , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hedi David struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Mohamed Younes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wanstead City. Aymen Baccouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hedi Beya , who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Wanstead City's Aymen Baccouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hedi Beya in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Wanstead City's goal looked a bit too open when Adel Sboui came free, but Aymen Baccouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aymen Baccouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hedi Beya , who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Hedi David fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Younes having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, New Romney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anis Ayari to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, New Romney's goal looked a bit too open when Kaies Jemmali came free, but Mohamed Younes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taher Chouchane in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aymen Baccouche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Hedi Beya notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Wanstead City's Aymen Baccouche. Aymen Baccouche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Taher Chouchane put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Aymen Baccouche. The Wanstead City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New Romney were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Kaies Jemmali made the kick off in the second half. Hedi David fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Younes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaies Jemmali in the 59th minute of play forced New Romney's goalkeeper Mohamed Younes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohamed Younes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hedi David, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Hedi Beya hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Kaies Jemmali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mohamed Younes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hedi David in the 78th minute of play. Hedi David sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Taher Chouchane took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Aymen Baccouche to make any attempt to save it. If Adel Sboui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Adel Sboui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaies Jemmali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohamed Younes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched New Romney eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
