Playing Place FC's Yassine Ishola got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mongi Essafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hedi Amira Sebki having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Mongi Essafi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hedi Amira Sebki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yassine Ishola took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hedi Amira Sebki. Hedi Amira Sebki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Driss Ben Doulet might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Taoufik Ragued. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Driss Ben Doulet ran back to his position shaking his head. Hedi Amira Sebki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yassine Ishola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mongi Essafi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Nouira in the 26th minute of play forced Guiseley AFC's goalkeeper Hedi Amira Sebki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mongi Essafi in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hedi Amira Sebki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Playing Place FC's Taoufik Ragued played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Driss Ben Doulet in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Yassine Ishola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guiseley AFC's Hedi Amira Sebki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yassine Ishola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hedi Amira Sebki having to make a save. When Bernard Nouira fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Playing Place FC's protests and gave Bernard Nouira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guiseley AFC booed when Playing Place FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Nouira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mongi Essafi made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Guiseley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hamdi Mhedhebi. A collision led to Guiseley AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Michel El Bez hit a great ball. A hard shot by Ali Gharbi from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Hedi Amira Sebki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Taoufik Ragued made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montassar Sellimi in the 59th minute of play. Mongi Essafi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 65 minutes into the match, Guiseley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mongi Essafi came free, but Hedi Amira Sebki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Driss Ben Doulet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taoufik Ragued saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Hedi Amira Sebki managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Playing Place FC's Yassine Ishola fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Mongi Essafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mongi Essafi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yassine Ishola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hedi Amira Sebki having to interfere. Driss Ben Doulet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Taoufik Ragued tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
