Karim Dermech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riadh Karoui having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Dermech in the 16th minute of play forced Dorchester City's goalkeeper Riadh Karoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Amir Mokthar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dorchester City's Riadh Karoui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amir Mokthar in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Riadh Karoui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rdth minute of the game Mohamed al-Husain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caistor's Atef Yahia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atef Yahia made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Chedly Saïdi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Dorchester City's Mehdi Ben Chaldun got a free kick in the 26th minute. Chedly Saïdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Atef Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Dorchester City's Atef Yahia threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohamed al-Husain, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Riadh Karoui came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Caistor's Karim Dermech. But to his dismay, Karim Dermech quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Chedly Saïdi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Atef Yahia made a huge save. If Mohamed al-Husain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karim Dermech stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Lotfi Jelassi fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dorchester City's protests and gave Lotfi Jelassi a yellow card for diving instead. Lotfi Jelassi hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th match minute, Dorchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khaled Clayton to maneuver through the defense. Dorchester City's Riadh Karoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Dermech in the 56th minute of play. Caistor's Amir Mokthar got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Mohamed al-Husain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dorchester City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 67 minutes into the match, Caistor's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed al-Husain came free, but Atef Yahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Mohamed al-Husain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dorchester City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed al-Husain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karim Dermech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atef Yahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed al-Husain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chedly Saïdi might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atef Yahia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chedly Saïdi ran back to his position shaking his head. Atef Yahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed al-Husain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amir Mokthars short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Riadh Karoui to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Caistor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
