The supporters of Stevenston FC booed when Tranent City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irvin McKay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Barry McRobie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Alisdair Connall made a precise shot to the right of Drew Caw. Tranent City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
