Peterculter's Gavin McDaniell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Peterculter from getting a goal against them. Marc McGillonie received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gavin McDaniell came out and tried to block the shot, but Marc McGillonie slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Peterculter's zone, Marc McGillonie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavin McDaniell came out of the goal and Marc McGillonie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Derek McLeverty kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Daniel Carr came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Harris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Carr couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Malcolm Brodie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peterculter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harris the free kick. Harris's Marc McGillonie got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Daniel Carr came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Harris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Carr couldn't finish the play. Peterculter's Vinny Burnes was substituted for Ewan Low. In the 43rd match minute, Harris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc McGillonie to maneuver through the defense. Peterculter's Vinny Burnes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronald Purcell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Gavin McDaniell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc McGillonie in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Peterculter's Shaun McKirdy got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Daniel Carr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gavin McDaniell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shaun McKirdy charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shaun McKirdy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Peterculter's Shaun McKirdy got a free kick in the 68th minute. Simon McGilvray took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gavin McDaniell. Peterculter's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Carr succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Vinny Burnes hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes Peterculter got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Purcell. Harris walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
