Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anthony Norman started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Norman in the 3rd minute of play forced Dunkeld's goalkeeper Robert McAindra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dean Borthwick might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kevin Tonnochy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dean Borthwick ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Dunblane's Kevin Tonnochy got control of the ball when Luke McFarquhar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Phillip Murchison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dunblane's supporters rose to their feet, but Phillip Murchison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert McAindra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Norman in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert McAindra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the game, Simon McIndeor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dunkeld's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dunblane the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Dunkeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon McIndeor to maneuver through the defense. Luke McFarquhar struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Kevin Tonnochy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunkeld. After 36 played minutes, Dunblane's Guy McGhee shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robert McAindra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dunblane reached it. Anthony Norman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert McAindra having to interfere. Anthony Norman took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert McAindra. Robert McAindra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After having played for 46 minutes, Luke McFarquhar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunkeld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luke McFarquhar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dean Borthwick to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Phillip Murchison during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luke McFarquhar hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Phillip Murchison's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Robert McAindra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anthony Norman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert McAindra having to make a save. Phillip Murchison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert McAindra having to interfere. Dean Borthwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Kevin Tonnochy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Anthony Norman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert McAindra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phillip Murchison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matt McCammon kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Phillip Murchison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert McAindra having to interfere. Simon McIndeor kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Robert McAindra was a little too slow when Phillip Murchison got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 2-2. John Cavanagh hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Dean Borthwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Dunblane getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ben McKinning hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
