Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Phillip Murchison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gary McLeverty having to interfere. Phillip Murchison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gary McLeverty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lybster's Keith Simon got a free kick in the 10th minute. Gary McLeverty came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Dunblane's Anthony Norman. But to his dismay, Anthony Norman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute of the match Dunblane got a corner. Lybster's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Terry McMichael ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Dunblane's Terry McMichael to fire away a dangerous shot which Gary McLeverty despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Phillip Murchison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony Norman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gary McLeverty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Rory McRuer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phillip Murchison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony Norman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gary McLeverty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Norman in the 34th minute of play forced Lybster's goalkeeper Gary McLeverty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Rory McRuer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Phillip Murchison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gary McLeverty having to interfere. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lybster's goalkeeper Gary McLeverty, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arthur Carstarphen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, Lybster's Archie McIndoe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kevin Tonnochy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lybster reached it. Phillip Murchison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lybster getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dean McIan hit a great ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Anthony Norman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lybster's Gary McLeverty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Arthur Carstarphen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lybster's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur Carstarphen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Tonnochy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anthony Norman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dunblane's zone, Rory McRuer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Tonnochy came out of the goal and Rory McRuer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the game, Dean McIan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lybster's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dunblane the free kick. Dean McIan hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Gary McLeverty made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Phillip Murchison sent off a good shot on target.
