Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Robbie McTary sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hamilton getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ryan McPhun hit a great ball. Grant Christie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis McCreath in the 7th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Hamilton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur McLulich to maneuver through the defense. If Stewart McLaren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Arthur McLulich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hamilton's Lewis McCreath in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moffat City's goalie prevented a goal. Stewart McLaren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Cookson having to interfere. Hamilton's Jordan Cookson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Borthwick in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Moffat City's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis McCreath came free, but Grant Christie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Robbie McTary came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Hamilton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robbie McTary couldn't finish the play. After having played for 29 minutes, Stewart McLaren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moffat City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stewart McLaren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kyle Borthwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jordan Cookson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kyle Borthwick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conor McMorran during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Hamilton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conor McMorran to maneuver through the defense. Jordan Cookson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Borthwick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, one of Moffat City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Robbie McTary scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grant Christie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Kyle Borthwick made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Angus Cooper shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Grant Christie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lewis McCreath was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Hamilton's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 60 minutes into the match, Moffat City's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis McCreath came free, but Grant Christie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stewart McLaren took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jordan Cookson. Jordan Cookson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Hamilton's Angus Cooper got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Grant Christie. In the 75th minute, Kyle Borthwick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jordan Cookson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Stewart McLaren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jordan Cookson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stewart McLaren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan Cookson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Borthwick in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Hamilton booed when Moffat City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Wallis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robbie McTary received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Grant Christie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Lewis McCreath got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hamilton had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
