Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rupert McGillivantic started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Dalwhinnie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lee McGilp came free, but Josh McIlwhom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josh McIlwhom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee McGilp in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Dalwhinnie FC's Kenny McAuselan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sam Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Alcock having to interfere. Dalwhinnie FC's Kenny McAuselan managed to work through Livingston's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Kenny McAuselan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jonathan Alcock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timothy McBeolain in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Rupert McGillivantic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Livingston's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dalwhinnie FC the free kick. After 16 played minutes Livingston got a freekick which was hit by Rupert McGillivantic. A collision led to Dalwhinnie FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Adam McKessock hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Livingston's Phillip Forrister got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With an all-out effort, Dalwhinnie FC's Jonathan Alcock threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kenny McAuselan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Livingston's Jonathan Alcock got control of the ball when Timothy McBeolain tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute Rupert McGillivantic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josh McIlwhom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Alcock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny McAuselan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timothy McBeolain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the game, Dalwhinnie FC's Sam Hamilton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Alcock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kenny McAuselan to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Livingston's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny McAuselan came free, but Jonathan Alcock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Timothy McBeolain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josh McIlwhom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert McGillivantic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dalwhinnie FC's goalkeeper Josh McIlwhom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Timothy McBeolain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Alcock. Livingston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timothy McBeolain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Lee McGilp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Josh McIlwhom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Livingston! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Dalwhinnie FC. Calum Bean stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Alcock. 4-0. Joe McVurich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Josh McIlwhom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lee McGilp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 99 minutes into the game, Sam Hamilton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dalwhinnie FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Livingston the free kick. When Rupert McGillivantic came up free with the goalie in the 101st minute, the Livingston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rupert McGillivantic couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Livingston players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dalwhinnie FC.
