Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Livingston's David McVinish proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Livingston from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the match, Dalwhinnie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Hewitt came free, but Josh McIlwhom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kenny McAuselan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les Sorely's late challenge caught a Dalwhinnie FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Les Sorely helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Livingston's Les Sorely got a free kick in the 91st minute. Timothy McBeolain's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, David McVinish skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
