Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Wayne Beaton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perth's supporters rose to their feet, but Wayne Beaton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam Fee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee McRitchie in the 6th minute of play forced Perth's goalkeeper Bob McIlvain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander McTier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob McIlvain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Alexander McTier's late challenge caught a Perth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander McTier helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Strathcarron City getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alexander McTier hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Perth's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lee McRitchie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sam Fee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lloyd Davies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Strathcarron City's zone, Wayne Beaton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sam Fee came out of the goal and Wayne Beaton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lloyd Davies struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Sam Fee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perth. In the 37th minute, Iain McMath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lloyd Davies in the 41st minute of play forced Strathcarron City's goalkeeper Sam Fee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lloyd Davies was the one to do the kick off. Sam Fee came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Perth's Wayne Beaton. But to his dismay, Wayne Beaton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Iain McMath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Lee McRitchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob McIlvain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Wayne Beaton took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Sam Fee to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lloyd Davies in the 68th minute of play forced Strathcarron City's goalkeeper Sam Fee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strathcarron City's Iain McMath suffered a sore thigh after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Simon McNaughton charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon McNaughton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Simon McNaughton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scott Bryde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bob McIlvain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Scott Bryde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob McIlvain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lloyd Davies came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Perth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lloyd Davies couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Strathcarron City's goalkeeper Sam Fee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wayne Beaton. In the 95th match minute, Strathcarron City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander McTier to maneuver through the defense. The Perth supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Perth would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
