Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sam Fee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas Clyne, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When Connor McAuselan fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saltcoats's protests and gave Connor McAuselan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Saltcoats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Connor McAuselan to maneuver through the defense. Matthew Crookshanks was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 14th minute Nicholas Clyne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Fee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scott Bryde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacob Denoon was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Lee McRitchie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lee McRitchie really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Scott Brydes short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Jacob Denoon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lee McRitchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Denoon having to interfere. Arthur Leitch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sam Fee read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Strathcarron City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander McTier to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Leitch scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sam Fee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Nicholas Clyne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saltcoats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lee McRitchie to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, one of Strathcarron City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 55 minutes, Saltcoats's Marcus Duffy got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sam Fee. Jacob Denoon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee McRitchie in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Saltcoats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe McOran to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Leitch in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sam Fee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lee McRitchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jacob Denoon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Strathcarron City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iain McMath to maneuver through the defense. Sam Fee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Leitch's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Connor McAuselan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Saltcoats walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
