In the 8thth minute of the game Gary Dawson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forsinard City's Paul McCaa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conor McCutchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Norman McKinning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Angus Alderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forsinard City's supporters rose to their feet, but Angus Alderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norman McKinning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 14 in the game by Conor McCutchen from a close distance when the talented Norman McKinning managed to make a qualified save. Banff's players were relieved. 16 minutes into the match, Banff's goal looked a bit too open when Angus Alderson came free, but Norman McKinning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conor McCutchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Banff's Gary Dawson got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conor McCutchen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norman McKinning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Angus Alderson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Paul McCaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Hudson in the 37th minute of the match. Angus Alderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Norman McKinning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Forsinard City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronan Leslie to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Forsinard City's zone, Barry Broom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul McCaa came out of the goal and Barry Broom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Forsinard City's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Broom came free, but Paul McCaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barry Broom received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paul McCaa came out and tried to block the shot, but Barry Broom slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 77th minute. Paul McCaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Broom in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Banff getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gary McGillivray hit a great ball. Banff's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
