Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Roddie Lindsay started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Reece Neish got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Logan Cole during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Appin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Logan Cole to maneuver through the defense. Logan Cole kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Appin's Tom Bartholomew proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Appin from getting a goal against them. If Stuart Hawthorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Roddie Lindsay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Bartholomew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes Cockburnspath got a freekick which was hit by Liam McKimmie. Stuart Hawthorn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Bartholomew having to interfere. Cockburnspath's Tim Wilkinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reece Neish in the 31st minute of play. Appin's Reece Neish got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tim Wilkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Craig, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mike Craig in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim Wilkinson saved Cockburnspath from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reece Neish to make the kick off. Michael Connelly charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Connelly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Appin got a freekick which was hit by Michael Connelly. In the 54th minute Reece Neish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wilkinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reece Neish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Tim Wilkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Mike Craig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Appin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Craig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Appin's Mike Craig got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Appin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cockburnspath:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roddie Lindsay in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Bartholomew prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mike Craig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tim Wilkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mike Craig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roddie Lindsay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stuart Hawthorn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, Nathan Gowan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cockburnspath's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Appin the free kick. Nathan Gowan kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Reece Neish struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Tim Wilkinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Appin. Appin were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
