Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reece Neish kicked off to start the match. Wick's Charlie Combie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reece Neish in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Appin's Mike Craig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlie Combie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 4 minutes, Sean Hastings mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wick and the Appin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Sean Hastings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ross Edie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tom Bartholomew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mike Craig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Reece Neish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Combie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Appin's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Ogilvie came free, but Tom Bartholomew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Reece Neish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Combie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Craig, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Charlie Combie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Craig in the 27th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Wick got a freekick which was hit by Sean Hastings. After 34 played minutes, Appin's Tyler Richardson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Charlie Combie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Appin reached it. In the 37th minute, Mike Craig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Appin's Reece Neish sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlie Combie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reece Neish in the 42nd minute of play forced Wick's goalkeeper Charlie Combie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Wick getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Matt McCondy hit a great ball. Tyler Richardson, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 47 played minutes Wick got a freekick which was hit by Craig McIssac. After a defensive mix-up in Wick's zone, Tyler Richardson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Combie came out of the goal and Tyler Richardson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sean Ogilvie made a kick off. Charlie Combie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Logan Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sean Hastings hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ross Edie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Bartholomew having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Sean Ogilvie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Bartholomew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Combie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reece Neish, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 69th minute, Mike Craig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charlie Combie. The goal made the score 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Appin's Reece Neish slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Charlie Combie. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. Tom Bartholomew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ross Edie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Reece Neish dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Charlie Combie, 0-4. Charlie Combie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reece Neish in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wick's goalkeeper Charlie Combie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Mike Craig sped through Wick's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charlie Combie. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Appin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
