Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Aidan McNey struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Patrick Yuill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tain. In the 9th match minute, Fochabers City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Dallas to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tain's goalkeeper Connor McOran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrick Yuill was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Castle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Samuel Rusk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Connor McOran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patrick Yuill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aidan McNey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gus Carmichael hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Frank Castle notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Fochabers City's Patrick Yuill. Patrick Yuill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fochabers City's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aidan McNey 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

A hard shot 52 in the game by Samuel Rusk from a close distance when the talented Connor McOran managed to make a qualified save. Tain's players were relieved. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tain's goalkeeper Connor McOran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gus Morrison kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Frank Castle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Yuill having to interfere. A collision led to Tain getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gus Morrison hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Fochabers City's Stevie McKeith tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Frank Castle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Yuill having to interfere. Samuel Rusk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor McOran having to interfere. Patrick Yuill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aidan McNey in the 87th minute of play. Frank Castle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Yuill having to interfere. Patrick Yuill came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tain's Aidan McNey. But to his dismay, Aidan McNey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Tain's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
