Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bob McCarter started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Christopher McClymont stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob McCarter's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. When Stuart Byers came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Burntisland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stuart Byers couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Sean Brownson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seaview United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Seaview United getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Martin King hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Patrick McRobb notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Seaview United's Arthur McCluskie. Arthur McCluskie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute, Patrick McRobb reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arthur McCluskie. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 20th minute of the match Craig Tawse sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arthur McCluskie skillfully saved the ball. Arthur McCluskie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy McLachlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick McRobb got free with Arthur McCluskie in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 26 minutes, Patrick McRobb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burntisland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick McRobb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Patrick McRobb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Patrick McRobb notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Seaview United's Arthur McCluskie. Arthur McCluskie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Seaview United's Arthur McCluskie got control of the ball when Patrick McRobb tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrick McRobb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arthur McCluskie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timmy McLachlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur McCluskie having to interfere. Bob McCarter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timmy McLachlan to make the kick off. When Patrick McRobb came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Burntisland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick McRobb couldn't finish the play. Dominic Gardiner hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Arthur McCluskie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy McLachlan in the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Seaview United's zone, Patrick McRobb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur McCluskie came out of the goal and Patrick McRobb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bob McCarter succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. After a rather tough play, Burntisland's Hugh McBeolain got a free kick in the 81st minute. Timmy McLachlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Arthur McCluskie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Seaview United's zone, Patrick McRobb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur McCluskie came out of the goal and Patrick McRobb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christopher McClymont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob McCarter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
