Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gareth McMichael made the kick off which started today's match. If Harold McCodrum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gareth McMichael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc McCraken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Millar in the 18th minute of play. Harold McCodrum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Anstruther's Gareth McMichael in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glasgow's goalie prevented a goal. Marc McCraken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gareth McMichael, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Marc McCraken came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Anstruther's Gareth McMichael. But to his dismay, Gareth McMichael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ciaran Dunbar's late challenge caught a Glasgow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciaran Dunbar helped the player get up and apologised. Ciaran Dunbar kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Gareth McMichael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc McCraken having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gareth McMichael in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marc McCraken saved Glasgow from getting behind. If Sid Cross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sid Cross recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harold McCodrum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamish Barton having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sid Cross made a kick off. Sid Cross recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sid Cross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamish Barton having to interfere. Harold McCodrum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamish Barton having to interfere. Theo Millar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marc McCraken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Theo Millar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marc McCraken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Collins, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Theo Millar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marc McCraken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gareth McMichael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gareth McMichael in the 96th minute of play forced Glasgow's goalkeeper Marc McCraken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Anstruther supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Anstruther would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
