Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jack McVurich got the match started through his kick off. If Gareth McMichael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamish Barton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Niven in the 13th minute. After 17 minutes of play, Anstruther's Theo Millar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Fowler was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Jack McVurich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent Niven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamish Barton having to interfere. A collision led to Anstruther getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rod McVail hit a great ball. When Theo Millar came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Anstruther fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Millar couldn't finish the play. In the 35th match minute, Hamilton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Logan McMonies to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Fowler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gareth McMichael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes, Logan McMonies mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hamilton and the Anstruther players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Logan McMonies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Fowler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Millar in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Gareth McMichael made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Rod McVail hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Niven in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamish Barton saved Anstruther from getting behind. If Jack McVurich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hamilton's zone, Gareth McMichael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Fowler came out of the goal and Gareth McMichael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the game, Paul Collins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anstruther's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hamilton the free kick. Paul Collins kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Vincent Niven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gareth McMichael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rod McVail hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Vincent Niven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anstruther's Hamish Barton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Niven in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Vincent Niven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamish Barton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Millar struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Lucas Fowler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anstruther. Theo Millar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lucas Fowler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hamilton supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Anstruther's performance. The match ended with a win for Anstruther.
