Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walter McCrain started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Joshua Beton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lochearnhead United's Ewan Donlevy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John McMurray in the 4th minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 10th minute, but Ewan Donlevy got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Lochearnhead United hanging dry this time. 12 minutes in the game, John McMurray fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ewan Donlevy having to interfere. Tyler McAchounich kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lochearnhead United's zone, Tyler McAchounich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ewan Donlevy came out of the goal and Tyler McAchounich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ivan Todd fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lochearnhead United's protests and gave Ivan Todd a yellow card for diving instead. Dean McAuselan shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyler McAchounich got free with Ewan Donlevy in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If John McMurray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Begg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cairndow AFC's Vinny McCook played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter McCrain in the 36th minute of play. The referee gave Cairndow AFC a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dean McAuselan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lochearnhead United's Ewan Donlevy. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John McMurray was the one to do the kick off. William Stringer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Vinny McCook when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cairndow AFC's Vinny McCook proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Cairndow AFC from getting a goal against them. Ewan Donlevy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyler McAchounich in the 62nd minute of the match. Dean McAuselan hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. William Stringer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Vinny McCook made a huge save. Vinny McCook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter McCrain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas McQuaire's late challenge caught a Lochearnhead United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas McQuaire helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Cairndow AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas McQuaire to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes Cairndow AFC got a freekick which was hit by John McMurray. Vinny McCook made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Stringer in the 72nd minute. If William Stringer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When William Stringer came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Lochearnhead United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Stringer couldn't finish the play. Tyler McAchounich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ewan Donlevy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Tyler McAchounich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewan Donlevy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cairndow AFC's Tyler McAchounich got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tyler McAchounich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ewan Donlevy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cairndow AFC's goalkeeper Vinny McCook, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cairndow AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
