Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Les Summers started the match with the kick off. Ross McNeil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregor Will's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Les Summers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Edmond CorMcK tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Robin Henderson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berriedale and the Tayport AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Berriedale's Robin Henderson got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Les Summers in the 14th minute of play forced Berriedale's goalkeeper Edmond CorMcK to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ross McNeil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conor Clements in the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tayport AFC defense, Conor Clements kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ross McNeil. The Tayport AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ross McNeil should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute Gregor Will shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross McNeil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ross McNeil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregor Will, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Les Summers in the 32nd minute of play forced Berriedale's goalkeeper Edmond CorMcK to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddie Johnston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Edmond CorMcK tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Gregor Will shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross McNeil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conor Clements in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ross McNeil saved Tayport AFC from getting behind. Ross McNeil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregor Will in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregor Will stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Conor Clements managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berriedale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conor Clements was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 54 minutes, Joe Combie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tayport AFC and the Berriedale players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Berriedale booed when Tayport AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Combie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conor Clements sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gregor Will received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ross McNeil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ross McNeil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregor Will in the 67th minute of play. Edmond CorMcK showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Johnston in the 75th minute of the match. Danny Coulter's late challenge caught a Tayport AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danny Coulter helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Berriedale got a freekick which was hit by Danny Coulter. Ross McNeil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregor Will, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st match minute, Tayport AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Allan to maneuver through the defense. Ross McNeil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregor Will in the 94th minute of play. After 97 played minutes Berriedale got a freekick which was hit by Conor Clements. The Tayport AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Berriedale's performance. The match ended with a win for Berriedale.
