After 27 minutes, Euan Edwards made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Perth Frogs AFC's Mike Robb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Perth Frogs AFC's Mike Robb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Perth Frogs AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Quentin Beath left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Euan Edwards sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tain's Euan Edwards got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Connor Fergus's late challenge caught a Tain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Connor Fergus helped the player get up and apologised. The Perth Frogs AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tain's performance. The match ended with a win for Tain.
