Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Phil Summers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Miles McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Miles McJames put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Logan Lachie. Miles McJames's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Logan Lachie skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Penicuik FC's Phil Summers in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clackmannan's goalie prevented a goal. If Miles McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Miles McJames got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Clackmannan's Logan Lachie got control of the ball when Miles McJames tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, Miles McJames made a precise shot to the right of Logan Lachie. Clackmannan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Roy Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregor Reid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phil Summers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lee Blackburn during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Clackmannan's Lee Blackburn got a free kick in the 29th minute. The long shot by Jim Gilchrist in the 30th minute really tested Logan Lachie's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan McNey in the 35th minute of play forced Penicuik FC's goalkeeper Roy Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregor Reid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Roy Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phil Summers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Lachie having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Clackmannan's Ivan McNey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roy Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Penicuik FC's zone, Gregor Reid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roy Day came out of the goal and Gregor Reid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan McNey struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Roy Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clackmannan. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregor Reid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clackmannan's Logan Lachie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miles McJames in the 52nd minute of play. Phil Summers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Logan Lachie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miles McJames in the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Clackmannan's zone, Miles McJames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Logan Lachie came out of the goal and Miles McJames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miles McJames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Logan Lachie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Clackmannan getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Barry Stevenson hit a great ball. Wal McIlvain kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Penicuik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregor Reid came free, but Roy Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Phil Summers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Logan Lachie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Miles McJames notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Clackmannan's Logan Lachie. Logan Lachie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clackmannan's Logan Lachie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phil Summers in the 79th minute of play. Roy Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregor Reid in the 81st minute of play. Ivan McNey succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 86th playminute. Frank Pitullich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Lachie having to interfere. Lee Blackburn kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Clackmannan's goal looked a bit too open when Phil Summers came free, but Logan Lachie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Penicuik FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
