Connor McEol might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Derek Beresford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Connor McEol ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 8 minutes, Greg McVean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolves FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greg McVean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Wolves FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Adrian Forsyth hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, Wolves FC's Greg McVean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronald Brebner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Greg McVean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ronald Brebner made a huge save. A collision led to Beat Rafal fc getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rob Clarkson hit a great ball. Greg McVean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bruce Ayson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Beat Rafal fc's goalkeeper Ronald Brebner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Greg McVean. 30 minutes into the match, Wolves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Connor McEol came free, but Derek Beresford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Connor McEol charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Connor McEol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wolves FC booed when Beat Rafal fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Connor McEol didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Beat Rafal fc getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Roddie Fergus hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Greg McVean could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Ronald Brebner however easily saved by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Greg McVean was the one to do the kick off. Greg McVean might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronald Brebner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Greg McVean ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Rob Clarkson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beat Rafal fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Rob Clarkson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Derek Beresford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rob Clarkson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruce Ayson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Gary Summers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Greg McVean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Wolves FC booed when Beat Rafal fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronan Meyners didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greg McVean took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronald Brebner. Ronald Brebner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wolves FC fully deserved thier win.
