Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Will Fostar made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 4 minutes, Stuart Tawesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC MUMIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stuart Tawesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When FC MUMIN's Stuart Tawesson in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carluke's goalie prevented a goal. Eric Wallace showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart Tawesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Stuart Tawesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stuart Tawesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC MUMIN booed when Carluke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Les McCansh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eric Wallace made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stevie Alder in the 22nd minute. In the 31st minute of the match Samuel McShimes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eric Wallace showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC MUMIN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel McShimes in the 32nd minute. After taking down the ball on FC MUMIN's corner Sid Alcorn fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eric Wallace quite easily take care of the ball. In the 34th minute, Stevie Alder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stuart Tawesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Wallace having to interfere. Tony Forest kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Stuart Tawesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Eric Wallace tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stevie Alder got free with Eric Wallace in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carluke's Eric Wallace proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Carluke from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stuart Tawesson to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricky McMaurice was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Will Fostar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Will Fostar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Stevie Alder managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC MUMIN's supporters rose to their feet, but Stevie Alder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Wallace breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 played minutes Carluke got a freekick which was hit by Neil Bailey. Stuart Tawesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Wallace. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stuart Tawesson ran back to his position shaking his head. Stuart Tawesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Wallace having to interfere. After 73 minutes of play, Carluke's Will Fostar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricky McMaurice was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Stuart Tawesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricky McMaurice showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Fostar in the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Carluke's Les McCansh got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Eric Wallace took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stuart Tawesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Will Fostar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricky McMaurice made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Keith McCammond sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle went the supporters of Carluke were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC MUMIN side.
