The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Conacher got free with Shane McFie in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chris Conacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Linlithgow AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Adrian Munro hit a great ball. After 15 minutes, Rupert McCall made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Linlithgow AFC's Danny Chisholm tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Neil Robb notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Linlithgow AFC's Danny Chisholm. Danny Chisholm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rupert McCall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Danny Chisholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Linlithgow AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Les Graham to maneuver through the defense. If Neil Robb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linlithgow AFC's goalkeeper Danny Chisholm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Barga FC's Rupert McCall in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rupert McCall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Danny Chisholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert McCall in the 52nd minute of the match. Barga FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rod Tawse in the 58th minute. Linlithgow AFC's Danny Chisholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert McCall in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rupert McCall in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danny Chisholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Neil Robb who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Danny Chisholm when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
