Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bob Webster started the match with the kick off. Neil Robb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Iain McGuffie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Castlebay's Iain McGuffie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert McCall in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Castlebay getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sam McAslan hit a great ball. Neil Robb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Iain McGuffie made a huge save. After 13 played minutes, Castlebay's Owen McNeur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shane McFie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castlebay reached it. When Archie Polson fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castlebay's protests and gave Archie Polson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barga FC booed when Castlebay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archie Polson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iain McGuffie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neil Robb in the 20th minute. Owen McNeur charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Owen McNeur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Castlebay got a freekick which was hit by Owen McNeur. Ciaran Dixon kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Castlebay's Sam McAslan got a free kick in the 26th minute. Rupert McCall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, Barga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupert McCall to maneuver through the defense. Iain McGuffie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert McCall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bob Webster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Rupert McCall made the kick off in the second half. Rupert McCall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iain McGuffie having to interfere. Ciaran Dixon struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Shane McFie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castlebay. When Billy McLaverty fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castlebay's protests and gave Billy McLaverty a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barga FC booed when Castlebay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy McLaverty didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Barga FC's Alan McColl got a free kick in the 60th minute. A collision led to Castlebay getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Owen McNeur hit a great ball. Barga FC's Neil Robb got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bob Webster struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Shane McFie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castlebay. Rupert McCall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Neil Robb in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iain McGuffie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iain McGuffie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert McCall in the 79th minute of play. When Barga FC's Rupert McCall in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castlebay's goalie prevented a goal. Iain McGuffie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neil Robb's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Castlebay's zone, Neil Robb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iain McGuffie came out of the goal and Neil Robb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rupert McCall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Iain McGuffie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neil Robb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rupert McCall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iain McGuffie having to interfere. With a little luck, Barga FC's Shane McFie got control of the ball when Ciaran Dixon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciaran Dixon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Shane McFie made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
