Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles McGillivantic got free with Luke Hunter in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 4 minutes, Hamish Combie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Keltic Academy and the Salsburgh F.c players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Keltic Academy got a freekick which was hit by Hamish Combie. Charles McGillivantic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Will Crombie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel McHugh having to interfere. Hamish Combie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Samuel McHugh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Ainslie's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. When Drew McWattie fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salsburgh F.c's protests and gave Drew McWattie a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Salsburgh F.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew McWattie to maneuver through the defense. Nick Roberts took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuel McHugh. Salsburgh F.c's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Salsburgh F.c's Samuel McHugh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Crombie in the 29th minute of play. Salsburgh F.c were furious when Raymond Dunn was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 31 minutes into the game, one of Salsburgh F.c:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Keltic Academy. Nick Roberts stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Samuel McHugh. 1-1. After 42 played minutes Salsburgh F.c got a freekick which was hit by Drew McWattie. In the 43rd minute of the match Nick Roberts shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel McHugh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Samuel McHugh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Will Crombie went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Keltic Academy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Charles McGillivantic made the kick off in the second half. Samuel McHugh didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. 57 minutes into the match, Salsburgh F.c's goal looked a bit too open when Will Crombie came free, but Samuel McHugh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salsburgh F.c's Samuel McHugh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Crombie in the 61st minute of play. Drew McWattie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Luke Hunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Will Crombie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel McHugh was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Drew McWattie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles McGillivantic might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luke Hunter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles McGillivantic ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 played minutes Keltic Academy got a freekick which was hit by Greg Wilson. In the 69th minute, Lucas Ainslie fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Samuel McHugh, passed just outside the right post. Drew McWattie hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Crombie in the 81st minute of play forced Salsburgh F.c's goalkeeper Samuel McHugh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Charles McGillivantic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Hunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Will Crombie scored 1-5 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel McHugh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucas McNeish charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas McNeish the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Lucas McNeish hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keltic Academy played a much better game than Salsburgh F.c and deserved their victory. The Salsburgh F.c players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
