Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Josh Foster started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Raymond Lonie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Nick Moodie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nick Moodie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Lonie in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron McRitchie in the 7th minute of play forced Iona's goalkeeper Richard Frizell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Quentin McNair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Frizell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Charlie Stevenson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Scott Robison shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Frizell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Richard Frizell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josh Foster in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Raymond Lonie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nick Moodie, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Raymond Lonie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iona's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymond Lonie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nick Moodie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humbie's Nick Moodie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Lonie in the 31st minute of play. When Hamish Murdoson came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Iona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamish Murdoson couldn't finish the play. Richard Frizell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gareth McCruithein went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Nick Moodie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamish Murdoson in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Nick Moodie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Lonie, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Nick Moodie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raymond Lonie's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Hamish Murdoson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Nick Moodie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot by Adrian Sherry from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Richard Frizell's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Richard Frizell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quentin McNair in the 64th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Humbie's goal looked a bit too open when Taylor Coulson came free, but Nick Moodie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nick Moodie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamish Murdoson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Richard Frizell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josh Foster in the 75th minute of play. Jordan Ronaldson charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jordan Ronaldson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Iona booed when Humbie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordan Ronaldson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamish Murdoson in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nick Moodie saved Humbie from getting behind. The supporters of Iona booed when Humbie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josh Foster didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes Iona got a freekick which was hit by Brandon McKiggan. 96 minutes into the match, Humbie's goal looked a bit too open when Hamish Cavanagh came free, but Nick Moodie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Iona players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
