Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Terence McAuselan made the kick off which started today's match. Blair Georgeson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joe Dempster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Georgeson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 10 played minutes Jaguar FC got a freekick which was hit by Danny Fox. 11 minutes into the match, Jaguar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Terence Bowers came free, but Joe Dempster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Montrose FC booed when Jaguar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barry McDonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joe Dempster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Owen McSween in the 13th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Jaguar FC got a freekick which was hit by Terence McAuselan. Joe Dempster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blair Georgeson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joe Dempster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terence Bowers in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Blair Georgeson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Dempster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Larry Forsyth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Declan McLardy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 36 minutes into the match, Jaguar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Terence Bowers came free, but Joe Dempster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Blair Georgeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Montrose FC's Terence Bowers in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaguar FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Jaguar FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Danny Fox hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jaguar FC's zone, Blair Georgeson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Dempster came out of the goal and Blair Georgeson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Jaguar FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Barry McDonald hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terence Bowers to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaguar FC's Joe Dempster proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Jaguar FC from getting a goal against them. Montrose FC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Jaguar FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Owen McSween took the corner. Blair Georgeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Dempster having to interfere. Samuel McKellaig hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Terence Bowers came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Montrose FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terence Bowers couldn't finish the play. When Jaguar FC's Larry Forsyth in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montrose FC's goalie prevented a goal. Terence Bowers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Dempster having to interfere. If Larry Forsyth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Montrose FC's Terence Bowers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joe Dempster. Joe Dempster yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Montrose FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
