Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Fergus Abbie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Malcolm Ingram. The goal made the score 1-0. Adam McBeolain kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Logan McKellaigh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Allan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Connor McLardy, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Connor McLardy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cromarty's supporters rose to their feet, but Connor McLardy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Allan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cromarty's Malcolm Ingram proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Cromarty from getting a goal against them. After having played for 21 minutes, Connor McLardy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cromarty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Connor McLardy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Logan McKellaigh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Moray's late challenge caught a Cromarty's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Moray helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Allan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Burk in the 29th minute of the match. Ian Moray scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malcolm Ingram, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cromarty's Malcolm Ingram proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Cromarty from getting a goal against them. Duncan Ellis charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duncan Ellis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Duncan Ellis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ian Moray's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Malcolm Ingram skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Douglas Hutchinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Ingram having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Douglas Burk made a kick off. Nick McIldowie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Frank Allan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Ian Moray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greenock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Moray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Cromarty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam McBeolain to maneuver through the defense. Cromarty's Malcolm Ingram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Hutchinson in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Burk in the 58th minute of play forced Greenock's goalkeeper Frank Allan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Moray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Burk in the 66th minute of play forced Greenock's goalkeeper Frank Allan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Ian Moray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greenock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Moray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ray McNaughton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Malcolm Ingram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Hutchinson in the 75th minute of play. Logan McKellaigh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Moray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malcolm Ingram dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Hutchinson in the 88th minute of play forced Cromarty's goalkeeper Malcolm Ingram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Hutchinson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Malcolm Ingram having to make a save. After 93 played minutes Cromarty got a freekick which was hit by Rob McQuaire. Douglas Hutchinson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Malcolm Ingram having to make a save.
