Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Caturela's Humberto Fontes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Humberto Morais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antigo. If Humberto Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Antigo's goalkeeper Viriato Borba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute of the match Luís Jesus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viriato Borba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With 22 minutes on the clock, Henrique Amaral commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 21 minutes into the game, one of SC Caturela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in SC Caturela's zone, José Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Morais came out of the goal and José Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th match minute, Antigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Borba having to interfere. Cristiano Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Humberto Morais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Andrade's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Caturela's Rafael Macedo got a free kick in the 38th minute. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Caturela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Leite was slow to take the kick. During this time Antigo's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bruno Leite got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Humberto Morais quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Andrade to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Antigo's goalkeeper Viriato Borba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Macedo. Cristiano Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Morais having to interfere. Humberto Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Fernandes in the 61st minute of the match. Viriato Borba made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Pedro Moura sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes in the game, Pedro Moura fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Viriato Borba having to interfere. Bruno Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th play minute Pedro Moura came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Viriato Borba. 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Fernandes in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Morais saved SC Caturela from getting behind. SC Caturela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
