Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Eduardo Pinheiro made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Moitinhos's goalkeeper Júlio Setúbal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 minutes, Eduardo Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Moitinhos and the SC Meinedo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Moitinhos's Eduardo Pinheiro got a free kick in the 12th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Eduardo Pinheiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. SC Moitinhos's Eduardo Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Meinedo's João Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Pinheiro in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Gaspar Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Meinedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to SC Moitinhos getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Paulo Pedroso hit a great ball. Artur Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Setúbal having to interfere. Artur Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Diogo Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Faria in the 39th minute of play forced SC Moitinhos's goalkeeper Júlio Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Pedroso charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Pedroso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 44 minutes into the game, SC Meinedo's Gaspar Faria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Setúbal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Cruz was the one to do the kick off. If Eusébio Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Cabral hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Artur Cruz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SC Moitinhos's Júlio Setúbal. Júlio Setúbal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eduardo Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Neto having to interfere. Eduardo Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. João Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Moitinhos. After a defensive mix-up in SC Meinedo's zone, Diogo Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Neto came out of the goal and Diogo Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Moitinhos's Eduardo Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eusébio Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Matias in the 82nd minute of the match. Eduardo Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Américo Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, SC Meinedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Brito to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Neto having to interfere. In the 89th minute Eduardo Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. João Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gaspar Faria came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SC Meinedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Faria couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Meinedo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
