Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Carvalho started the match with the kick off. A collision led to SC Escadabouca getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Amílcar Neves hit a great ball. Mário Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusébio Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Pinheiro in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Álvaro Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Álvaro Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jorge Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Miranda in the 13th minute of play forced SC Escadabouca's goalkeeper Jorge Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Pinho hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Mário Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Almeida. SC Escadabouca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Carlos Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eusébio Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Carlos Carvalho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 41 minutes, Lourenço Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Escadabouca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lourenço Pinheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Mário Miranda made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Azevedos's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Carvalho came free, but Eusébio Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Paulo Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viriato Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. SC Escadabouca's Lourenço Pinheiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eusébio Queirós in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jorge Almeida made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Mário Miranda sent off a good shot on target. If Carlos Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. Eusébio Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Jorge Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Lourenço Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Carvalho took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusébio Queirós. Eusébio Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Jorge Almeida stood somewhat misplaced when Mário Miranda came free in front of goal and shot 4-2 to the left of him in the 90 minute. SC Escadabouca's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
